How to solve for a side of a triangle

Side of a triangle is the ratio of the length of one side to the length of another side. It is a fraction: ½. Three sides of a triangle form an equilateral triangle.

The side ratios of an equilateral triangle are equal: 1:1:1. The three angles at each vertex are all equal, as well: 90° for each. If "a" is the length of the lateral side, then "b" is the length of the hypotenuse and "c" is the length of one leg (the shorter one). Then, we can write that: A = b = c = 1 Therefore, the side of a triangle can be found by dividing any two sides together and adding 1 to the result. So if you want to find the hypotenuse, you would add 1 to both "a" and "c". If you want to find one of a pair's legs, you would add 1 to both "b" and "c". Another way to solve for a side of a triangle is to use Pythagoras' theorem. This says that in order for two triangles to share a common side, they must have identical altitudes (measured from their highest point). This means that if you want to find the hypotenuse or one leg, you can simply measure them from their top or bottom respectively

Solving for a side of a triangle is actually quite simple. We can take the given side and then subtract from it the length of one of the other sides (remember, if we’re looking for an unknown, we’re subtracting one thing from another). Once we have the new length, we can compare it to the original to see if there’s a discrepancy. If there is, then we know that the unknown side is half as long as that other side. If not, then we know that the unknown side is twice as long as that other side. The best way to remember how to solve for a side of a triangle is just to think about what happens when you add together two sides and then subtract one. When you add sides together and then subtract one of them, you are in effect solving for something; you are finding out which side is twice as long as another one.
